With so many computer 2.1 speaker systems on the market today, it’s easy to be turned off from anything starting at under $100. But at the Consumer Electronics show earlier this year, the buzz was all about Edifiers new E3350 lifestyle speaker systems. People were assuming that with such rich sounds, and well built speakers, they would be in the $250 or higher price range.

No, this is not a vintage Pink Floyd Album cover, but it looks bizarre enough that it could be. It’s also not a photo from the Brick’s new Borg-style Female Assimilation project.(We do have such a project, but it’s all pretty hush-hush. It looks alot like this actually.) The O2 Lounge is the latest fad in salons, spas, massage parlors, hotels, nightclubs, and apparently the great outdoors.

Pebble: a small, rounded stone, often worn smooth by the action of the elements. Or so you would think. Of course, in this case, Pebble: a rather large, rounded PC monitor, worn smooth by the action of designers and marketeers. Indeed, Pebble is the standout name Samsung has chosen for part of its recent LCD monitor and television range. Inevitably, this monitor still carries the name SyncMaster, and model number (2232BW), but there's just something cool about being able to say you're browsing the net or playing a game on a Pebble.

We already knew Lenovo's 11-inch darling was shipping to eager US-based consumers "soon," but now we've got a definitive date for you to circle on that jam-packed calendar: April 29th. The IdeaPad U110 will indeed be available for order on Tuesday, and it'll be starting a full Benjamin less than we previously heard (down to $1,899, to be exact) directly from Lenovo.

If your pool filter just can’t keep the surface clean, then you have to clean those leaves and dead bugs off manually. There must be a better way, right? Well, last year we presented the remote control skimmer. Fun idea, but there is no auto pilot. To take it to the next level, enter the first solar-powered robotic pool skimmer. This bad boy navigates the pool and removes everything on the surface using only the power from the sun.

I find it pretty hard to believe that a company might actually want to piggyback on the success of other brands and even franchises. Case in point - the Matrix-NEO LCD monitor from Dao Korea. This glossy full HD LCD monitor will feature a ho-hum dynamic contrast ratio of 7,000 to 1, and will be released on May 1st. I wonder what the legal eagles from Warner Bros. have to say about this - will this Matrix-NEO LCD monitor actually stop time and "bullets" from your boss, just like how Neo managed to do so in the movies?
