Most of Canon's PIXMA inkjet printers are desktop machines where, within reason, size and weight aren't problems. There's one area of the market, though, where both these considerations are important and that's portable print. If the printer needs to be light and compact, but still offer good quality output in a reasonable time, constraints on its design are much tighter.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a very good golfer. If you take par, then multiply it by a factor of 1.5x, that’s about what I usually hit. So I guess I was pretty pleased to see that this little robotic golfer doesn’t play any better than I do.

Data on the drive is encrypted with a key at the hardware level using government-grade 128-bit AES encryption, so if you lose it whoever finds it will have zero chance of recovering the data.

Okay, okay -- we get it. So maybe there's just not enough room in a genuine Zapper to fit all the necessary innards of a Nintendo Entertainment System into, but it's just a bit weird to see the Big N's antiquated console crammed into some other light gun. Similar to the NES-in-an-NES-controller mod we peeked earlier this week, this unit includes a plethora of games and all the controls you need; just plug it up to a TV, pop a few batteries in there and you're golden.
